For thousands of years shamans have used their spiritual power to help heal members of their tribe. And while it may be difficult to verify this process with a sterile western scientific methodology, it nevertheless is a very real phenomenon. And this is perhaps where some of the more mystical aspects of quantum physics seem to mirror the more magical aspects of human capabilities. It would seem that the very act of imagining or envisioning an event, is enough in some circumstances to make that event happen. So if a shaman can see the divine nature (the higher archetypal self) of someone who is injured, that very act might be enough to help that individual jump start their own healing process. It's as if the physical body is a reflection of the spiritual body.
